मसूरी भाजपा नेता के नाम से बैंक को फिर मिला 5 करोड़ का धमकी भरा मेल, पालिका अध्यक्ष और काॅग्रेस नेता के नाम का भी उल्लेख, दो शाॅप में चोरी, लोगों में खौप, पुलिस लाचार ।
मसूरी । मसूरी पिछले एक सप्ताह में दुसरी बार फिर अपराध से थर्राया है। बहुत शांत और सुरक्षित मानें जाने वाली छोटी सी मसूरी में पहली बार ऐसा हुआ है कि जहाॅ अपराधी खुलेआम बेखौप अपराध कर रहा है और पुलिस या साइबर क्राइम सेल इस एडवांस टैक्नालाॅजी के जमानें में कुछ नहीं कर पा रहे हैं । अपराधिकयों के हौंसले इतने बुलंद हैं कि जहाॅ गत रात्रि को मुख्य माॅल रोड़ पर ब्राॅड-वे चश्में की दुकान में शो विंडो और ताले तोड़कर चोरी का प्रयास किया गया व लाइब्रेरी बाजार में नेक्स्ट नाम की दुकान से पर्यटक बनकर आए चोर मंहगे कपड़ों पर हाथ साफ कर गए वहीं दूसरी ओर मसूरी भाजपा अध्यक्ष रजत अग्रवाल के नाम से पुनः स्टेट बैंक को धमकी भरी मेल भेजी गई है और 5 करोड़ रूपये रिश्वत की बात लिखी गई है । उक्त पत्र में पालिका अध्यक्ष मीरा सकलानी और कांग्रेस नेता मेघ सिंह कण्डारी का भी नाम जोड़ा गया है । बात यहीं नहीं रूकी है बल्कि रजत अग्रवाल के नाम से सेंटजार्ज कालेज को भी एक धमकी भरा इमेल पत्र भेजा गया है जिसमें स्कूल को बंद करने और स्कूल पर धर्म परिवर्तन का आरोप लगाया है । उल्लेखनीय है कि इससे पूर्व भी गत सप्ताह श्री रजत के नाम से बैंक की कई शाखाओं को धमकी भरे इमेल भेजे गए थे ।
श्री रजत अग्रवाल ने उक्त घटना की तहरीर मसूरी पुलिस को दे दी है । यद्यपि मसूरी पुलिस कई दिन बीत जाने के बाद भी मेल भेजने वाला का पता नहीं लगा पायी है । बेखौप माॅलरोड़ पर ताले तोड़कर चोरी किए जाने और बेखौप धमकी भरे मेल भेजे जाने से मसूरी वासियों में भय का माहौल व्याप्त है । लोगों का कहना है कि माॅलरोड़ का यह हाल है तो नगर के दूरस्त इलाकों की सुरक्षा कैसे होगी ।

This has happened for the first time in small Mussoorie which is considered to be very peaceful and safe, where criminals are openly committing crimes without any fear and the police or cyber crime cell are unable to do anything in this age of advanced technology. The criminals’ emboldened actions are so high that last night, an attempt was made to steal from the Broadway Eyewear shop on Main Mall Road by breaking the display windows and locks. Thieves posing as tourists stole expensive clothes from a shop called Next in Library Bazaar. Meanwhile, another threatening email has been sent to the State Bank in the name of Mussoorie BJP President Rajat Agarwal, demanding a bribe of ₹5 crore . The letter also includes the names of Municipal President Meera Saklani and Congress leader Megh Singh Kandari. The matter doesn’t end there; a threatening email has also been sent to St. George’s College in the name of Rajat Agarwal, demanding the school’s closure and accusing it of promoting religious conversions. It’s worth noting that last week, several bank branches were previously sent threatening emails in Mr. Rajat’s name. Mr. Rajat Agarwal has filed a complaint with the Mussoorie police regarding the incident. However, even after several days, the Mussoorie police have not been able to trace the sender of the email. The rampant thefts and the reckless sending of threatening emails on Mall Road have created an atmosphere of fear among Mussoorie residents. People say that if this is the condition of Mall Road, how will the security of remote areas of the city be ensured?
